Welcome to our home in San Miguel de Allende, Casa Tranquilidad.

Our Home

Located in the historic Centro district with excellent views of the famous city center and is situated on a main thoroughfare. Conveniently near a variety of dining options, shopping and entertainment all within a short 3 1/2 blocks from the Jardin. The picturesque colonial architecture of San Miguel de Allende and the vibrant art and culture, including an array of festivals – attract visitors from all over the world. After a busy day enjoying the city, return to an inviting home with modern amenities and watch a beautiful sun-set from the third level patio.

The living room has a gas fireplace, library, comfortable seating, Smart TV and is adorned with local artwork. A powder room is located adjacent to the living room. The dining room has wooden beam ceilings, a gas burning fireplace, unique hand-crafted table, and side bard with an array serving pieces for entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped for making a simple cup of coffee or creating a scrumptious meal. A washer and dryer are located on the premises. The entrance to the second level patio is lined with lush greenery and the patio is surrounded by potted plants with seating at the patio counter for 4. Adjacent to the counter is a small gas patio grill. The second level bedroom is off the patio and has a double bed, sofa, gas fireplace, private bathroom with shower, and a walk-in closet.

The third level bedroom is reached through a covered stairway. The third level patio provides stunning views of the city, especially at night when the La Parroquia is illuminated. The third level bedroom has a king size bed, boveda ceiling, gas fireplace, built-in closet, and a bathroom with shower.

Many activities take place within the town center and other attractions are located nearby: bilingual library, language & art schools, cultural events, live theater, thermal pools, museums, local tour guides offering walking tours of the city, horse-back riding, botanical gardens, shopping, and easy access to the nearby historic cities of Queretaro and Guanajuato.

Enjoy the picturesque town which was bestowed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008.
